First in a fun series!
Morgan Tyler is the head writer on a soap opera, but her personal life is starting to imitate art. She is the subject of false rumors, has two suitors vying for her attention, and she's suspected of murder. She's going to have to use her connections and her understanding of people, motives and behavior to figure out who is really causing all the trouble before she becomes the next victim.
I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Morgan is a great character, and her job is unusual and interesting to read about. She has a wonderful supporting "cast" and the mystery is just right - not too easy to figure out, or too convoluted to be believable. [Note for sensitive readers: there is some foul language in the book.]

I am a lover of books; I can't get enough of them. Come check out my recommendations for readers of all ages! I hope you find some new reading treasures for you and your family here. Three star books are good, four star books are great, five star books are outstanding. In general, if I didn't like it, I don't even blog about it. Recommendations are based on my personal opinions, and cautions are listed for the sake of sensitive and/or younger readers.
That sounds fun! (I've been watching the same soap opera since I was eleven!)
ReplyDeleteGreetings! Thanks for following my blog. It gave me a chance to do the same. :)
ReplyDeleteI liked soaps when I was in college. Maybe a book about one would be fun too.
