Great non-fiction book about a dog trained to find beached and/or sick dolphins so they can be rescued. Will appeal to dog and dolphin fans as well as kids who enjoy any book about animals. Other stories focus on monkeys and rats as "animal heroes."

I am excited about adding this book to our school library. I think it is a subject the kids will want to read, and the appearance will catch their eyes. In the world of Common Core, I am interested in finding more non-fiction books like this one for my students to read.
