PICTURE BOOK: Miss Smith's Incredible Storybook by Michael Garland

Miss Smith's Incredible Storybook

Summary: A second grader is convinced that this school year is going to be just like any other, but his new teacher, Miss Smith is something special. And when she opens up her incredible storybook, the characters come to life. While this is a pretty fantastic trick, it quickly gets out of hand when Miss Smith has a substitute and everyone starts drawing out their favorite characters willy nilly.

Review: Fun story about the magic of reading. This would be a great book to read at the start of the school year, either in the classroom or in the library.
