48 Hour Book ChallengeIt's time for the 48 hour Book Challenge sponsored by MotherReader. I have never done this challenge before, but in light of current events in my life, I think it is perfectly timed. The Challenge is to set aside 48 hours the weekend of June 3 through 5 and just read.

Doesn't that sound glorious? It does to me. My family is on board for letting me lay around and read as much as I can during those two days. It feels like a gift!

I keep thinking of books I have on my shelf that I could read during that 2 days. Here are some of the titles I am thinking about reading:

Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer

The Kane Chronicles, Book Two: The Throne of Fire
The Fourth Stall
The Trouble with Chickens: A J.J. Tully Mystery (J.J. Tully Mysteries)
Star Trek: Department of Temporal Investigations: Watching the Clock
The Write Start: A Guide to Nurturing Writing at Every Stage, from Scribbling to Forming Letters and Writing Stories

So, if you had two days to just read, read read, would you? Follow the link to the challenge and check out the details. Let me know if you decide to join in the fun - and let me know what you will be reading!

[I am an Amazon Associate. If you like to Amazon from one of my blogs and buy something, I receive a small percentage of the purchase price.]

[NOTE: I wrote this before my father was moved to hospice care. This challenge may not be for me this year. Maybe you would choose to add a little extra reading time to your weekend and think of us.]
