Kiki Kitty has a run in with some fashion magazines at her birthday - they come tumbling down on her head.
Later, she becomes a super hero called Fashion Kitty who saves others from fashion faux pas.
I loved Fashion Kitty. Immediately I thought of my eight-year old niece. I knew she would love the story, the fashion angle, and the dress-up doll pictures in the middle of the book.
I was right - she loved it. I think this is a great introductory graphic novel for girls - along the lines of Babymouse and Lunch Lady.
