Targeted to women, Walsh addresses issues that get in the way of us enjoying life and enjoying our relationship with God. She starts each chapter with a story which I found very engaging. Each chapter ends with questions and prayer. She covers things such as shame vs. guilt, God's role in our every-day lives, exclusion from the Christian community, moving beyond our past, unforgiveness, temptation and accepting yourself.

The book was affirming and encouraging, but readers could also find it challenging at times, depending on what the reader is dealing with in her own life.
