Had to share this news today - the third Ella Bella Ballerina book is set to print this year. Check out this blog post from the author/illustrator, James Mayhew, and see some sneak peaks of Ella Bella Ballerina and Swan Lake.
[If my SIL is reading this, don't show our little Ella Bella - she'll probably be getting this for her birthday! =-)]
I am a lover of books; I can't get enough of them. Come check out my recommendations for readers of all ages! I hope you find some new reading treasures for you and your family here. Three star books are good, four star books are great, five star books are outstanding. In general, if I didn't like it, I don't even blog about it. Recommendations are based on my personal opinions, and cautions are listed for the sake of sensitive and/or younger readers.

BONUS BLOG: Ella Bella
I have made no secret of my love for the Ella Bella Ballerina series - Ella Bella Ballerina and The Sleeping Beauty
and Ella Bella Ballerina and Cinderella
.
Today, the author/illustrator posted a picture at his blog from the new book, Ella Bella Ballerina and Swan Lake that he just turned in to his publisher. Check out the illustration. Isn't it lush and gorgeous? This is one of the main reasons I love these books and recommend these books and buy these books. If you haven't seen one in person, find one! They are beautiful!

BONUS BLOG: Book follow up for Ella Bella Ballerina
Back in June I posted a review of a children's book called Ella Bella Ballerina and the Sleeping Beauty. The author recently posted a comment on the blog which led me to his blogs for Ella Bella and another series he writes. I thought it would be a good time to tell readers that Ella Bella will have a new adventure this fall - Ella Bella Ballerina and Cinderella. (There's even information on the blog with the title of the next book in the series - see if you can find it!)
The Ella Bella in our family will be getting this volume for sure!

MONDAY: Ella Bella Ballerina
Ella is a little ballerina who loves her ballet classes. One day after class, she is transported by the music of Sleeping Beauty into the story where she gets to watch everything unfold.
When I stumbled across this title, I knew I had hit the jackpot. We have our own "Ella Bella Ballerina" in the family and this was a perfect story for her. The Illustrations are gorgeous! If we had other Ella's in our life, this would be the first book I would buy for them.
