Summary
Aldo Zelnick is a boy who likes to draw. When his grandmother gives him a sketchbook, Aldo decides to illustrate and write about his summer. Aldo isn't sure if his writing and drawing is very "cool," but he knows he likes it. Includes vocabulary words that start with A. First in series.
Review
This was a fun story with a great format and premise. Works well with other contemporary children's literature like Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Dork Diaries, and the Big Nate books that combine drawings with the story. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.
